Your wedding bouquet will be with you throughout the big day, and preserved for years to come in photography and videos. Instead of letting your cherished bouquet wilt, preserve it forever by press-drying the flowers.
To press-dry flowers you will need a large, heavy book and wax paper. Line a page of the book with wax paper, laying your flowers face down on the page one by one, careful to keep them separate.
Once you have lined the page with flowers close the book and leave to press. You may need to use multiple pages to preserve your entire bouquet. After a week the flowers should be delicate like paper. If not, close the book and allow the flowers to continue drying for a few more days.
Once you have removed the flowers from the book you can choose to use them in a variety of ways, first rearranging the individual flowers back into a bouquet.
Some of the most popular ways brides use their pressed flowers includes as a front page cover in their wedding photo album, in a frame, or in the wedding guestbook.
