Formalities are a necessary part of most weddings, to ensure the couple are legally married and officially announced as husband and wife. But there is no reason why the language used in weddings can't be more casual, while still achieving the purpose.
There are many cute and creative ways to inform guests of the proceedings of a wedding. Programs can be written up on boards or recycled palettes, as can signs for the ‘bride side’ and the ‘groom side’ at the wedding ceremony.
Similar signage can be used to highlight quirky features such as a candy buffet, guestbook, photo booth and even the social media tags for all the event snaps.
